Wow! Wenn ihr wüsstest wieviele Versuche es gebraucht hat mich allein wieder an mein Passwort hier zuerinnern. Es ist also sicher zu sagen, dass es eine ganze Weile her ist seitdem ich hier aktiv war.
Heute ist es aber mal wieder soweit, denn nachdem ich auf Instagram heute das Titelbild dieses Beitrags gepostet habe, bekam ich doch einige Fragen wie aus einem IVAR Schrank das hier entstanden ist.
Die Idee zu diesem Schrank kam mir recht spontan und entstand auch eher aus der Not heraus.
Mir ist ein nachhaltiger Umgang mit Rohstoffen sehr wichtig und daher habe ich mir die Aufgabe gestellt (fast!) nur Materialen zu nutzen die ich eh schon rumfliegen hatte.
Wo kommt also dieser IVAR Schrank, das restliche Holz, die Schrankbeine und die Hardware her? Größtenteils von meinen DIY IVAR Kleiderschrank ,der bis vor kurzem noch in meinen Schlafzimmer stand. Was sich dort getan hat zeige ich euch auch demnächst natürlich auch noch.
Das Einzige was ich für den Schrank gekauft habe war ein Reststück "Wiener Geflecht" von Ebay Kleinanzeigen und eine Dose weißen Holzlack aus dem Baumarkt.
Nun aber dazu wie ich beim bauen vorgegangen bin.
Mein eigentlicher Plan hatte das untere Fach und die Beine gar nicht vorgesehen sondern sollte nur aus dem IVAR Schrank entstehen.
Dazu habe ich mit Hilfe einer großen Salatschüssel und einem Lineal die große ovale Form auf die Türen gezeichnet und diese dann mit einer Stichsäge ausgesägt. Ich bin kein Profi im Umgang mit der Stichsäge, kam aber ganz gut zurecht. Wenn ihr euch nicht an solch ein Gerät traut fragt doch einfach mal im Familien- oder Bekanntenkreis nach Hilfe.
Die Kanten habe ich im Anschluss mit Schleifenpapier geglättet
Im Anschluss habe ich die Türen und den Korpus weiß lackiert. Ich habe keine leider keine Bilder davon aber ein süßes Video mit meinem Katzistent Winnetou der mich beim streichen des Schrankes unterstützt hat. Auf seine ganz eigene liebvolle Weise natürlich.
Im Anschluss habe ich nur noch mein Geflecht mit einer Schere zugeschnitten und auf die Innenseite der Türen getackert.
Im Ergebnis sah das Ganze wie folgt aus.
Optisch war ich auch da schon recht zufrieden mit dem Schrank aber dank meines hohen Teppichs ließen sich die Türen nur schwer öffnen und mit Schrankbeinen wäre mir der Platz zu meinem Fernseher zu knapp geworden.
Wieso also den Fernseher nicht gleich ganz in den Schrank integrieren?
Dafür habe ich mir aus Holzresten das untere Fach zugesägt und mit dem Schrank verschraubt.
Aus einem alten Rundholz habe ich dann vier gleichlange Teile gesägt und sie mit der unteren Platte verschraubt. Beim durchwühlen meines Kellers fand ich außerdem noch eine dünne Messingstange die ich mit einem Rohrschneider geteilt und quer in die Möbelbeine integriert habe.
Aus den langen Leisten die man im oberen Bild sehen kann habe ich mir die Teile für die Tür des unteren Faches gesägt und eine Art Rahmen geformt und diesen dann mit Holzleim zusammengefügt.
Dann habe ich alles mit dem gleichen weißen Holzlack gestrichen und auch auf diese Türrückseite das Wiener Geflecht getackert.
Die Tür selbst habe ich mit zwei Scharnieren mit dem Schrank verschraubt und zum Schließen des Faches rechts und links je einen Türmagneten angebracht.
Alternativ könnte man statt dem Klappfach auch eine Schublade bauen.
Und da steht er nun mein fertiger Schrank und ich bin ja zugegebener Maßen schon etwas verliebt in das Ergebnis.
Ich hoffe dieser Beitrag war auch mangels genauer Schritt für Schritt - Bilder einigermaßen verständlich und gibt einen guten Einblick in meine Bauprozess.
Und wenn es auch für euch nicht genau so ein Schrank werden soll, hoffe ich euch dazu inspiriert zu haben doch mal ein altes ungeliebtes Möbelstück oder ein paar Materialreste zu betrachten und euch zu überlegen was ihr noch tolles daraus zaubern könntet!
